Sodium and potassium tartrate: characteristics and properties

Sodium and Potassium Tartrate, also known as Rochelle Salt, comes in the form of translucent crystals. Randi Group is a supplier and producer of sodium and potassium tartrate for industrial use, particularly in the food industry, where it is known by the code E337, and in the pharmaceutical, galvanic and construction industries.

Main sectors and applications
Food
An acidifier and natural preservative for jams, juices, preserves and non-alcoholic drinks. An emulsifier in baking processes, in table waters as an effervescent, in desserts as a leavening agent.
Construction industry
In the field of plasters and cements, it is used as a set retarder, while in the ceramic sector, tartaric acid is used as a fluidifier.
