Sustainability and certifications

At Randi Group, our focus on the environment translates into a concrete commitment that involves every production phase. The production of natural tartaric products takes place in compliance with the most stringent regulations and an ethos with sustainability at its core. Starting from the processing of the raw materials, the waste material is fully recycled and reused: the exhausted pomace and the remaining processing waste are transferred to the cutting-edge biomass cogeneration plants to produce thermal and electrical energy. This reuse allows the production of approximately 12,500 MWh per year of electricity from renewable sources, of which about 4,000 MWh are fed into the grid, as well as a saving of around 10,000 tonnes of CO2. Furthermore, any waste not reused for energy is used in agriculture as a natural fertiliser. A philosophy based on an authentic circular economy confirmed by the most stringent certification, in compliance with the highest regulatory and quality standards.
